Discover Ramen Ninja

Ramen enthusiasts in Tokyo should definitely make a stop at Ramen Ninja, a cozy spot nestled at 17-3 Kanda Matsunagacho in the heart of Chiyoda City. This hidden gem offers an unforgettable ramen experience that has quickly gained attention from locals and tourists alike.

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere sets the tone for a meal you won’t soon forget. The intimate space has a modern, minimalistic design, combining warm wood accents with a sleek, contemporary look. It’s clear that Ramen Ninja focuses on providing not just great food but a memorable dining experience.

What truly sets Ramen Ninja apart from other ramen joints in the city is their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each bowl of ramen is crafted with precision and care, using a recipe passed down through generations, yet constantly evolving to include new twists on traditional flavors. The broth, rich and savory, is simmered for hours to create the perfect balance of umami, with the right amount of saltiness and depth.

The signature dish at Ramen Ninja is, without a doubt, their tonkotsu ramen. Made with a creamy pork bone broth that’s both hearty and smooth, it’s the kind of bowl that makes you feel warm and satisfied with every slurp. The noodles are perfectly cooked-just the right amount of chewiness to complement the rich broth. Top it off with tender slices of chashu pork, a soft-boiled egg with a slightly runny yolk, and a sprinkle of green onions, and you’ve got a bowl of ramen that hits all the right notes.

But it’s not just about the tonkotsu. The menu at Ramen Ninja offers a variety of options to suit different tastes. If you’re in the mood for something a little lighter, their miso ramen is another crowd favorite. The miso-based broth is rich but not overwhelming, paired with vegetables and your choice of protein. If you prefer something with a bit of spice, the spicy ramen options are a must-try. The heat level can be adjusted to your liking, so whether you like a mild kick or something that makes your taste buds tingle, you’ll find the perfect level of spice.

The staff at Ramen Ninja is knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. They take the time to explain the different options on the menu, ensuring that every guest finds something they’ll enjoy. The service is quick and efficient, perfect for both those on a lunch break and those looking to relax over a leisurely dinner.

In terms of location, Ramen Ninja is situated in a bustling part of Tokyo that’s easily accessible by public transport. Whether you’re staying in the area or just passing through, it’s well worth a visit. For tourists looking to experience authentic Japanese ramen in a local setting, this spot provides an ideal mix of tradition and modernity.

In terms of value, Ramen Ninja delivers. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion sizes. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a more indulgent meal, this restaurant offers a satisfying experience without breaking the bank.

  • Small place, was full of locals, in a typical Japanese way,you order food on a machine outside, everything is in Japanese and nobody speaks English but when I sat down, one of the cooks showed me a paper with questions about my food in English. That was a nice touch and the ramen was very tasty! You even get a bowl of rice for free if you want.

  • I got a bowl of ramen for 1030¥ that could have fed 3 people. The meat is tender, the noodles are thick and the broth is salty. Highly recommend for the jiro style experience and good value

  • The ramen here is good to try once, and it’s tasty overall, but as a traveler, I probably wouldn’t come back for a second time. The flavor is nice but not very memorable.

  • Though there’s a reputation for jiro style ramen shops to have rude staff and almost a “soup nazi” approach, it was not the case. The guy who took our order made an attempt to communicate in English. As with jiro style ramen, you select the amount of toppings you want. First timers, be prepared to not finish the entire bowl that’s super salty (which is normal for this style), topped with chunks of pork back fat and the massive amount of noodles and toppings. Even after 30 mins, I could barely make a dent in the mountain of noodles. Iced water is complimentary, but you gotta get it on your own. Also, don’t expect to be able to eat and chat while conquering this bowl. Overall a super cozy experience. (:

  • It's a really authentic Ramen place. The portions are HUGEE! So if you're a big person with big appetite you should get the most expensive one for 1350¥ which is a great price for the food you get!
